Mars Petcare approached Uniting Ambition with a critical business project key to accelerating growth. With current sales via online channels standing at £500m, Mars plan to increase this figure to $2bn over the next 2 years. The company’s global focus is now on building digital awareness, capability and relationships to meet sales projections.
As part of this strategic growth plan, Mars Petcare created a newly formed Digital Capability team which had been tasked with increasing sales through key online channels such as Ocado, Tesco.com and Amazon. Uniting Ambition was approached to recruit pivotal roles into the department. Roles recruited include:
- 15 x Service Managers
- 4 x Analytics Executive
- 5 x Merchandising Manager
- 1 x Search Engine Co-ordinator
