The Client

Founded in 1968 TCS operate in 43 different countries and employ 386,000 worldwide, India’s largest business. They have £176.9B revenues to March 2017 and are a market leader in the outsourcing world.

TCS are a specialist in technology outsourcing and here in the UK work with the majority of the major banks, airlines andretailers. TCS own Jaguar Landrover (JLR), Tata Steel and Diligenta in the UK.


The Brief

TCS had won their first BPO client Scottish Power. They were keen to develop the site in Warrington as a centre of excellence to enable them to use this as a testimonial to win further BPO business.

Despite using several external agencies, the challenge they were facing was recruiting and retaining quality customer service professionals in the Warrington location.


The Solution

We offered TCS a fully integrated partner solution with the ability to flex our resourcing capacity, to meet peak demand periods. We designed a consistent recruitment process that was fully integrated with the TCS HR processes and team.

Our dedicated talent bank aggregator allowed us to source from a different and better talent pool rather than relying purely on web boards.

We delivered a fully managed and bespoke on-site assessment centre, with end to end candidate management. A consistent message to candidates and marketplace to maintained their employer brand, generating positive PR both internally and externally.

UA delivered 250 hires over a six months period in-line with TCS training and on boarding schedule. UA and TCS continue to work closely together to look at further improvements to improve candidate retention on the Warrington site.
