Head of Sales
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join a fast-paced, high growth Food Business. The business is backed by some incredibly inspirational well recognised leaders who have been appointed to maximise the businesses market position. The business is incredibly ambitious and looking to double over a specific time frame. To do this the business has already invested in making several SMT appointments across Finance & Marketing to support growth.
To assist with the business’ growth plans, the board are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Sales; with a depth of experience within the Food or Wholesale/foodservice industry, this individual will be tasked with developing and embedding best practice sales processes. As a true sales leader this person will manage, motivate and develop the existing team whilst recruiting and training driven sales people to match the company’s ambitious growth plans.
The role requires a true hands-on operator who possesses the ability to challenge existing practices, drive sales performance and support the board with strategic advice for the direction of the business.
By replacing a number of responsibilities currently carried out by the CEO, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly take ownership of the role, an ability to manage positive change and to bring innovative ideas to drive success.
